Chai Bar, Steep Collection Vol. 1

This soap was brewed, not scented.

Instead of the distilled water we normally use, we steeped a real pot of Centro Chai from Centro Tea Co, a small tea company in DeLand. Their blend is organic black tea, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and pepper, and it's strong. We saponified our usual recipe in that brewed tea instead of water, then added a chai fragrance on top, since brewed tea alone won't hold its scent through a hot shower. That gets you the real ingredient and a scent that lasts.

No added color. The tea did that on its own. Finished with a sprinkle of activated charcoal and mica on top.

This is the first release in the Steep Collection. Chai now, Earl Grey and Chamomile to follow. Only a small batch exists.
